Creator of Beautiful Functionality

In my experience of hiring designers and developers there are 4 types of designers / developers:

1. A designer who is great at making beautiful functional designs
2. A developer who can code anything you can think of
3. A dud
4. And there is a rare bird that exists amongst them; the Front End Designer & Developer

This bird has the following traits:

● Is inspirational, proactive and always challenging the boundaries
● Is continuously learning
● Is autonomous in their work and wants to achieve shared goals
● They can design beauty which is functional
● They understand how users do things on the Internet and can make simple no think websites
● Knows how to make something readable with typography layout
● They can design and they can code front-end
● They conceptualize the end result and how it will meet the business objective before they open Photoshop or write a line of code
● No project is too difficult
● Any language or integration is possible, it just needs some research.
● Can inspire, lead and manage others.

I am looking for one of these rare birds to help us create beautiful designs and implement them live in HTML and small amounts of CSS, jQuery and Ajax.

Core areas of responsibility will be:

● Design of beautiful and functional tools and webpages
● Implementing, cutting and coding front-end code to work in with our backend developers
● Designing persuasive advertisements
● Conceptualizing design solutions to work with outsourced partners.
● Solve UI/UX problems elegantly
● Ready to create beauty on any Platform: web, mobile and whatever is next
● Cross-browser issues and testing
